Welcome to the Onwave rail newsletter.

The team has had a busy summer so far, we have been exploring the use of OWL geofencing for mitigating points run throughs as well as attending both Rail Live in the UK and The TRACCS Rail Day in Canada.

In this months newsletter we cover People/plant interface and using OWL to prevent people moving too close to equipment. Both Andy Mehaffey and Matt Wilson have worked on rail projects for the majority of their careers and they unpick this use case in detail.

We also recently became an Authorised reseller of Starlink, and we are looking to pilot Starlink on rolling stock, and looking for interested parties to get in touch to be involved in this exciting new project.

Starlink for Rolling Stock

As a supplier to the rail sector and an authorised Starlink reseller, Onwave is looking to work with Customers who are interested in understanding how Starlink LEO technology can enhance passenger experience by providing high bandwidth.
